	RADIOLOGY SERVICES Whole Body MRI CLUMAX is equipped with Karnataka's first MAGNETOM Avanto, Siemens' high-end 1.5 Tesla system with Tim (Total imaging matrix) technology. With its patient friendly design, dramatic reduction in acoustic noise level and exceptional image quality, Siemens Avanto is one of the best MR systems in the world at present. It is also one of the fastest, resulting in high acquisition speeds and therefore, reduced examination times. TIM technology allows 205cms seamless imaging, thereby allowing examination of the entire CNS and spine without changing the position of the patient. DIGITAL X-RAY (COMPUTERIZED RADIOGRAPHY) CLUMAX is the first institution in the whole of India to acquire the latest REGIUS 190 STAND ALONE Computerized Radiography system from Konica Minolta, Japan. This CR system comes with revolutionary features and was installed by Japanese engineers. It is one of the first CR systems to produce diagnostically acceptable mammography images. The CR system is coupled with Konica Drypro 793 and 752 dry laser cameras which yield films of exceptional quality. BONE DENSITOMETRY Dual-Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) is the most accurate and advanced test available for measuring bone mass with excellent resolution and reproducible precision. The LUNAR DPX Pro Pencil Beam Total Bone Densitometer supplied by Wipro GE MEDICAL SYSTEMS combines high performance scanning with advanced clinical utility and revolutionary enCORE software, making it one of the best of its kind and offers to be of great service to patients in the early detection of osteoporosis, which if left undetected can lead to crippling and life-threatening fractures. Its unique Dual femur feature automatically assesses the density of both femurs in one acquisition. At CLUMAX, we perform Densitometry studies in the following disorders:- Osteoporosis (screening) including in menopausal and postmenopausal disorders, endocrine disorders, ovarian dysfunction Osteopenia Kyphosis/scoliosis We also perform body fat assessment which may be used to assess weight loss therapy and exercise programs.
